SHOES Week 5/52

Again I run a tad behind on my blog...
I am getting the hang of blogging while running my business can you tell?  This weeks theme is "shoes"!  My Mom called me and told me about this wonderful tree out in Snohomish that is littered with old shoes so I had to check it out.  Enjoy the photos below.

Interesting shoe tidbits
In Hungary a groom drinks a toast from his brides wedding slipper
On average women purchase 4 pairs of shoes a year
In Biblical times a sandal was a sign of oath
Sneakers were first made in America in 1916, they were called Keds

The next few weeks I will be silent, I have some big photo adventures planned and will catch up on blogging the week of April 11th.

Rain rain go away... week 4 of 52

This weeks theme was appropriately selected as "RAIN"!
We had many storms roll through the Pacific Northwest this week bringing lot's of rain, hail, thunder and lightning, it was an eventful week for us.  We are actually only about an inch over our typical March rainfall and we are short an in inch of rain year to date.   These photos are just a few I snapped while out and about in the lovely rain.  Some are even taken with my tried and true iPhone camera.
Enjoy or rather be thankful if you don't live here, and bring on the sun!

Next weeks theme - SHOES

Week 3/52 - Theme is cute kids!

I slacked a bit on last weeks theme, I honestly think our lovely Seattle winter weather got to me and I was feeling a lack of creativity and motivation.
But I did have an awesome opportunity to do a photo shoot for some amazingly cute kids and the weather was amazing to boot!  This one saved me for sure!

Stay tuned for next weeks theme which is going to be "RAIN" this is appropriate since we have 10 big rain storms moving in over the next week.

Have a great week and enjoy these photos!

Week 2/52 - Water

Last weeks theme for the 52 week project was WATER.
Typically water and or rain is pretty easy to come by here in Seattle however last week we had more snow and ice than the wet stuff.
I did get a chance to make it up to Snoqualmie falls on a nice clear day.
Enjoy!
